This 1995 Nordlund 66 is a custom-built motor yacht constructed with airex-cored fiberglass and designed by Ed Monk. Twin MAN D2842 turbo diesel engines producing 1,100 horsepower each drive the yacht to a cruise speed of 31 mph and top speed of 35 mph. The yacht measures 66 feet in length with an 18.5-foot beam and draws 4.10 feet. Teak decks run throughout the exterior, finished in Awlgrip paint. A Maxwell 3500 windlass, Wesmar 25 HP bow thruster, and Nautical Structures davit with a 14-foot AB tender complete the deck layout.
The interior features custom cabinetry by Milton Millwork with granite-on-honeycomb countertops, custom upholstery, and Koreges carpeting. Appliances include Miele and Gaggenau ranges, Sub-Zero and Amana refrigeration, and a Miele washer and dryer. Nautilus stainless steel sliding glass salon doors imported from Genoa, Italy, open the main living spaces.
Navigation and systems are well-equipped with dual Raymarine E120 multifunction displays, Transas electronic charting, Shipmate VHF with weather fax capability, and updated radar and autopilot. Two Kohler generators—21 kilowatt and 13.5 kilowatt—provide power, backed by a Victron 3000-watt charger-inverter and Victron 24-volt battery charger. A Sea Recovery 1200 GPD watermaker supports extended cruising, along with an Aqua Air chilled water air conditioning system and Tank Sentry monitoring.
