The Pacific Mariner 65 is a fiberglass motoryacht designed by the renowned Bill Garden, whose hull design is known for clean water separation and efficient performance. Built in 2001 in La Connor, Washington, she combines proven Pacific Northwest construction methods with thoughtful engineering throughout.
The yacht accommodates four cabins and four heads. The master stateroom features a walk-around king berth, unusual for a boat of this size. The main salon is open to a full galley with full-size appliances including side-by-side refrigeration. The pilothouse offers excellent sightlines and full instrumentation, positioned to oversee both helm and galley operations. An aft deck provides additional outdoor space, and a stand-up engine room allows proper access for maintenance.
Twin Caterpillar 3406 diesel engines produce 1,600 horsepower combined and run at just 2,375 hours. The yacht cruises comfortably at 18 knots and reaches 21 knots at 2,000 rpm, burning approximately 62 gallons per hour at cruise speed. At reduced speeds around 10 knots, fuel efficiency improves significantly. The engines have been maintained with care and show the benefit of knowledgeable ownership and operation.
