1995 Sundeer 56

The 1995 Sundeer 56 is a purpose-built cruising yacht designed by Steve and Linda Dashew for fast, efficient world voyaging. Her narrow hull and extended waterline enable consistent daily passages of 200 miles or more while maintaining a smooth motion through the water. The six-foot draft opens access to shallow anchorages, and all control lines lead aft to the cockpit, allowing one or two people to manage the full sail plan without venturing forward on deck.

The interior is divided into three watertight sections and includes two cabins and one head. A large forward locker dedicates space to sails and gear, while an expansive engine room and lazarette accommodate mechanical systems, leaving the living areas uncluttered and organized. Substantial tankage supports extended voyaging with ample fuel and water capacity, and the deck is configured to catch and channel fresh water.

Equipment throughout reflects the yacht's cruising focus. Oversized, high-quality deck hardware, a heavy-duty electric windlass, and substantial ground tackle are fitted as standard. The boat is powered by an 88-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine.
