1995 West Bay Sonship

This 58-foot West Bay Sonship combines traditional pilothouse styling with practical cruising accommodations. The layout centers on a generous pilothouse that opens to a large flybridge, creating flexible entertaining and relaxation spaces. Below deck, three staterooms provide sleeping quarters for family and guests, while the cockpit connects directly to the engine room, allowing straightforward maintenance access without passing through the main salon.

The cockpit is arranged for easy water access and boarding, with ample room for social gatherings. The boat carries a tender with davit for deployment. Power comes from twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 1,250 horsepower combined, delivering a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots.

Recent work includes topside and cockpit paint, upgraded Garmin electronics, and replacement generators from Westerbeke. The starboard engine has been rebuilt with 300 hours of operation since the overhaul. A fiberglass hull provides the foundation for this established cruising platform.
