2009 Ovation 52 Ovation

The 2009 Ovation 52 is a 58-foot fiberglass express-style motor yacht built on a wide 16-foot beam. She is powered by triple Volvo Penta IPS 600 diesel engines producing 740 total horsepower, offering efficient pod-drive operation with joystick controls for responsive handling and docking. The boat carries 618 gallons of fuel and 200 gallons of freshwater, with an 80-gallon holding tank.

The open salon features a full-beam layout with panoramic windows, cherry wood cabinetry, Ultraleather seating, and an entertainment center. The mid-level galley includes granite countertops, refrigerator/freezer, microwave/convection oven, and cooktop. An elevated U-shaped dinette sits opposite the galley with natural light. Three staterooms provide flexible accommodation: a forward master with an island queen berth and ensuite head with shower, a port guest stateroom with a double berth, and a starboard guest stateroom with convertible twin berths. Two full heads include separate shower stalls, VacuFlush toilets, and solid-surface vanities.

The helm station features a centerline position with commanding sightlines and a complete Garmin electronics suite including chartplotter, radar, autopilot, VHF, and depth sounder. Digital Volvo engine monitoring displays provide real-time engine data. The aft cockpit includes a teak sole with seating and dining table, while a hydraulic swim platform aft accommodates a tender or water toys. A molded stairway accesses the bridge with secure handrails, and wide side decks with stainless bow rail ensure safe foredeck movement.

Below decks, a Kohler 13.5kW diesel generator supplies auxiliary power, complemented by a 50-amp shore power system with Glendinning Cablemaster. Reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating serve the entire boat. Additional systems include a central vacuum and a washer/dryer combination unit.
