The Gozzard 44 is a traditional cruising yacht renowned for its solid construction and comfortable layout. This 1996 fiberglass hull measures 44 feet in length with a 13.67-foot beam, drawing just 5 feet 2 inches—suitable for Intracoastal Waterway cruising with its 59-foot air draft. The boat combines classic design with practical cruising capabilities.
Power comes from an 80-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine installed in 2015. The yacht is equipped with two air-conditioning units, a diesel generator, and a water maker. A drop-down transom door provides convenient access to the water and simplifies dinghy operations. The boat accommodates three cabins and two heads.
A significant refit spanning 2015 to 2018 updated core systems and finishes. Work included the new engine, complete Awlgrip exterior paint, new countertops, refrigeration upgrades, standing rigging replacement, and electric heads. Several sails were also renewed as part of this period of improvement.
