1996 Hunter Legend 37.5

The Hunter Legend 37.5 is a coastal cruiser built around performance, comfort, and straightforward handling. This 1996 example carries a 38 hp Yanmar diesel engine with 1,100 hours logged, and is rigged with a fully battened mainsail, two genoas, and a cruising spinnaker. She cruises at 6 knots and reaches 7 knots under power. Navigation is supported by an ICOM VHF with remote microphone, Garmin chartplotter, and Raytheon EV100 autopilot.

The cockpit is open and versatile, featuring a folding teak table, walk-through transom, and swim platform with hot and cold shower. A dodger with attached bimini provides weather protection. Below, the cabin offers 6 feet 6 inches of headroom throughout, with overhead skylights and a teak-and-holly sole. Teak cabinetry and trim define the interior spaces.

The galley is L-shaped, fitted with Corian countertops, a double stainless sink, Princess three-burner stove and oven, and a double-lid icebox. The main salon and galley flow naturally into accommodations for seven: a convertible dinette, starboard settee, forward stateroom, and large aft cabin with queen berth and storage. The head includes a molded vanity, shower with circular curtain track, teak bench, and varnished teak grate flooring.
