This 1996 MacGregor 26X is a 26-foot fiberglass sailing yacht powered by a 50-horsepower Nissan gasoline engine. The boat features a wheel steering setup, roller-furling jib on a CDI system with UV protection, mainsail with cover, and a Bimini top. A mast-raising system is fitted to assist with raising and lowering the mast.
The interior layout includes an enclosed head compartment with a porta-potty, fabric cushions throughout the cabin, and additional cockpit cushions. The boat was kept in freshwater conditions and spent much of its life in a slip in North Mississippi. The bottom paint remains serviceable.
Cosmetically, the topsides show some thin gelcoat in places where the underlying structure is visible, though the interior is clean and well-presented. All systems are in serviceable condition and ready for use. The boat comes with a trailer, which was added after purchase to enable transport and coastal cruising.
