1996 Navigator Classic 50

The Navigator Classic 50 is a raised-pilothouse motor yacht built on a solid fiberglass hull with aluminum stringers and floor supports. Powered by three Cummins 420 Diamond Series diesel engines totaling 849 horsepower, the yacht cruises comfortably at 16 knots and reaches 20 knots at top speed. The hull measures 50 feet in length with a 15-foot beam, and the design emphasizes exceptional 360-degree visibility from both the pilothouse and salon through large wraparound windows.

The interior comprises three staterooms and two heads. The full-beam master suite sits amidships with an ensuite head, a forward VIP stateroom features an island queen berth, and a third guest cabin offers over-under bunks. The expansive salon extends nearly the full beam, creating an open-concept living area with a large settee. The galley is U-shaped and positioned on the pilothouse level with ample storage and a serving counter.

Recent mechanical work includes new rudders, a new steering cylinder, rebuilt alternators, and fresh bottom paint completed in spring 2025. Both turbochargers were replaced in 2016, and two ZF IRM280A transmissions are new from 2020. The boat carries dual stainless steel propeller shafts with dripless shaft seals, propeller spur line cutters, and a Wesmar 13-horsepower bow thruster. A Fireboy engine room fire suppression system and Algae-X fuel polishing system are installed.

Electrical systems include 50-amp shore power capability, a 9-kilowatt Kohler generator, and house, engine, and bow thruster batteries all upgraded to GEL in 2019. Electronics span dual Garmin GPS chartplotters with sounder and radar, Garmin autopilots, and VHF radios at both helm stations. Additional equipment includes trim tabs, a Lewmar anchor winch, a davit, washer and dryer, convection microwave, refrigeration, a Kenyon range, and central vacuuming throughout.
