The Vancouver 28 is a proven offshore cruiser with a long keel, heavy displacement, and cutter rig—a capable platform for both coastal cruising and ocean passage making. Built from fiberglass, she measures 28 feet with an 8-foot-7-inch beam and is powered by a Beta diesel engine of 25 hp, which was installed recently and has logged only 120 hours.
The boat comes equipped for serious cruising and passage work. Her sail plan consists of a fully battened mainsail with three reefs, a Yankee, and a staysail. She carries six self-tailing winches throughout and features an electric windlass for anchor handling, making single-handed sailing straightforward. Navigation and safety systems include a full suite of Raymarine electronics with AIS. A Seago tender and Honda 4-stroke outboard complete the inventory.
Standing rigging was replaced during 2016–17. The hull received a copper coating in 2023. A tender and Honda outboard are included, with no engine hours recorded since the last service.
