1996 Wauquiez Centurion 41s

The Wauquiez Centurion 41s is a cruiser-racer designed by Ed Dubois, built with quality construction that emphasizes seaworthiness. At just under 43 feet, the boat features a fiberglass hull with composite bulkheads, an AIREX foam sandwich core, and Aramid roving reinforcement in the forward section. The hull-deck connection is laminated for strength. Powered by a Yammer diesel engine, the boat is rigged as a cutter and equipped with an extensive inventory of sails including a new genoa.

The interior is arranged for comfortable cruising with two cabins—a V-berth forward and king-size aft—plus one head and generous storage throughout. The layout supports extended time aboard and liveaboard use. A full enclosure added in 2023 provides weather and sun protection.

Recent upgrades include a new engine installed in 2017 with only 1000 hours of use, new batteries installed in 2024, and a 600-watt solar panel. Electronics have been updated, and the boat carries full safety equipment suitable for offshore sailing. The cutter rig and comprehensive outfit make this a capable platform for longer passages.
