1997 Beneteau First 36s7

The 1997 Beneteau First 36s7 is a 36-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a 12.3-foot beam, built for both day sailing and overnight cruising. The boat has been maintained on freshwater lakes for over two decades and presents well for her age. The hull receives annual bottom paint and regular waxing.

Below deck, the two-cabin layout offers sleeping berths alongside a galley equipped with two stainless steel sinks, hot and cold water, a refrigerator/freezer, and a two-burner propane stove with oven. A pump-out head with a large holding tank and a navigation station with chart table support extended cruising.

The sail inventory is comprehensive. The boat carries original sails, a newer North Nordac full batten mainsail with lazy bag, a near-new North NORLAM 155% furling genoa, and both symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers—all reported in good condition. A Yanmar 27 hp diesel with approximately 500 hours provides auxiliary power and drives a MAX PROP variable-pitch propeller. The rig features a hydraulic backstay adjuster and whisker pole, with new running rigging installed.

On deck and throughout, equipment includes a propane grill, wash-down pump, cockpit cushions, full dodger and bimini with winch and wheel covers. Power systems comprise two large deep-cycle house batteries and a dedicated starting battery. Navigation instruments are Nexus/Garmin units displaying wind, speed, and depth.
