This 1997 Beneteau Oceanis 461 is a 46-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built on a Bruce Farr design. Powered by a 50 hp Yanmar diesel rebuilt in 2015, the boat carries a comprehensive modern electronics suite centered on Raymarine B&G systems installed in 2020, including dual chartplotters (12" and 7"), 3G radar, wireless instrumentation, and a premium H5000 autopilot. The deck is equipped with a power main halyard winch, electric windlass with 300 feet of chain, and Doyle heavy offshore sails from 2016 along with an asymmetric spinnaker and storm sail. Standing rigging was replaced in 2016 with most running rigging renewed in 2015.
Accommodations comprise a forward master cabin with an electric head and custom mattress, plus two aft cabins, one converted to enclosed storage. The interior features a Webasto climate control system, upgraded Isotherm refrigerator, Force 10 stove with oven, and a 50-inch Samsung television with amplified audio. A Spectra Ventura 200t watermaker provides independent water production at anchor.
Power systems are designed for self-sufficiency: 915 watts of solar panels on a custom arch feed a 3000-watt Magnum hybrid inverter charged by two new 8D marine batteries totaling 525 amp-hours installed in 2025. Additional amenities include a Magma cockpit grill and custom gas fire pit. The hull received fresh bottom paint in October 2020 and has been maintained to a high technical standard.
