The Hunter Legend 40.5 is a 40-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 1997, designed as a racer-cruiser with a wing keel for stability and performance. Powered by a 50 hp Volvo diesel engine, the boat reaches a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum hull speed of 8 knots, making it capable both for extended cruising and competitive sailing.
The interior layout includes two cabins and two heads, with nearly 6 feet 6 inches of headroom throughout. The separated sleeping and bathroom spaces offer privacy for extended time aboard. An electric windlass is fitted for anchoring convenience.
The engine shows 2,500 hours of operation and was recently run. The sails, running rigging, and interior furnishings have been maintained, with most visible components either newer or well-kept. A Caribe RIB dinghy with a 6 hp 2-stroke engine is included and stored out of water.
