1997 Malo 42

The Malö 42 is a fiberglass motor yacht built in 1997 by Swedish shipyard Malö Yachts AB. At 42.81 feet in length with a 13.09-foot beam, this boat was designed for offshore cruising in demanding conditions. It is powered by a single 100 hp Yanmar diesel engine and features a deep, ergonomic cockpit with a stainless-steel arch, integrated mainsheet traveler, sprayhood, and full cockpit enclosure—practical solutions for extended cruising in challenging weather.

The interior showcases mahogany joinery throughout with three separate cabins and two heads. The layout includes a spacious saloon, well-equipped galley, and a forward owner's cabin with private en-suite bathroom and separate shower compartment. The boat accommodates up to six people.

Recent upgrades include a 380 Ah lithium battery bank, Raymarine Evolution autopilot, electric anchor windlass both forward and aft, bow thruster with joystick control, new chartplotter and VHF, and a new water heater. The yacht has had two owners since new, with documented service history throughout its life.
