The Sydney 46 is a 46-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built by Bashford in Australia in 1997. Designed as a performance cruiser, it features a carbon mast and carries a substantial sail inventory. The boat is powered by a Yanmar 3JHE-TE 50 hp diesel engine and accommodates three cabins below deck.
The yacht is equipped with an HP111 watermaker producing 35 liters per hour, though it requires servicing. Power is supplied by three 120 Ah AGM batteries—two service batteries and one new starter battery installed in 2025. A COASTO dinghy measuring 2.7 meters, new in 2025, comes with a Mercury 4-stroke 6 hp outboard motor. The boat also includes a custom-designed dismountable cradle for shore storage and transport, and an UNSINN plywood trailer measuring 305 by 157 by 194 centimeters. Additional spare parts, older sails, and miscellaneous inventory are included.
