The 1998 Bayliner 3587 is a 35-foot fiberglass sedan-bridge motor yacht powered by twin Cummins 6BTA diesel engines rated at 330 horsepower each. Built for extended Pacific Northwest cruising, the boat combines comfortable accommodations with practical systems for varied weather and extended time away from port. A Caribe RIB dinghy with 30-horsepower Yamaha outboard and hydraulic davit system is included for tender operations.
The interior features three staterooms: an aft master with queen berth and ensuite head with separate shower, a forward stateroom with double berth and adjacent head, and a mid-cabin with twin bunks. The salon is appointed with wraparound leather seating and includes a fully equipped galley with full-size refrigerator, three-burner propane stove, oven, and microwave. Two reverse-cycle air conditioning and heat units serve the interior, and entertainment includes 42-inch and 32-inch Samsung televisions and an Alpine stereo system throughout.
Helm stations are positioned upper and lower. The upper helm features a Garmin 4212 GPS chartplotter with radar, Robertson autopilot, and new VHF radio installed in 2022. The lower helm includes a Garmin 545-S chartplotter and new windlass controls added in 2022. Full bridge and aft deck enclosures protect occupants in rough weather.
Recent mechanical work includes a new port transmission installed in 2018, new propellers in 2018, and a series of system refreshes: new raw water pumps and water heater in 2017, new potable water pump in 2021, and freshwater pump replaced in 2023. The boat carries an 8-kilowatt Westerbeke generator, Magnum inverter-charger, four new 6-volt house batteries, and dual 30-amp shore power inlets. Additional features include a windlass with 150 feet of chain and spare anchor, reinforced swim grid, Magma stainless barbecue, and aft deck wet bar.
