This 1998 Fountain 35 Lightning is built for high-performance offshore running. Twin MerCruiser 502 Mag MPI engines produce 415 hp each and have logged just 597 hours. The boat rides on Bravo four-blade stainless steel propellers and sits on a custom welded Myco tandem axle trailer fitted with LED lights and surge brakes, plus a spare tire.
The helm features Latham full hydraulic steering, Gaffrig throttle and transmission controls, and Gaffrig gauges that display GPS speed, engine tachometers, oil and water temperature, oil and water pressure, and voltmeters. A Humminbird Matrix 65 depth finder rounds out the electronics. Power is managed through dual batteries with a switch, and dual power engine hatches provide access to the powerplants. The Corsa Quick and Quiet exhaust system can be switched electrically.
The 35-footer carries twin fuel tanks and is equipped with K-planes featuring mechanical indicators, along with drive showers for rinsing. A Halon fire suppression system is installed. The boat holds a fresh water sink and head with porta potty in the cabin, plus dual power drop-down driver and passenger seats in the cockpit. Both a snap-on cockpit cover and full mooring cover are included.
The hull and interior vinyl show no chips, gouges, rips, stains, or tears.
