The 1998 Hunter 410 is a 43-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built for extended passages and comfortable living aboard. Powered by a 50 hp Yanmar diesel engine, she carries standing and running rigging upgraded in 2016 and a fully battened mainsail with lazy jacks, a 115% roller-furling jib, and a cruising spinnaker package. Navigation is handled through Raymarine electronics including GPS with integrated AIS, a radome, autopilot, and three ST60+ displays for wind, speed, and depth. A Monitor wind vane with emergency rudder provides self-steering, while a below-deck autopilot offers additional capability.
Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and two heads. The master stateroom aft features a queen athwartship berth with storage and cabin cabinetry. The forward stateroom has a Pullman berth. Both heads have been updated—the aft head fitted with a Raritan Superflush in 2019, with the forward head retaining a Jabsco manual unit. A galley amidships includes a three-burner Princess propane cooktop with oven, refrigeration, and freezer. The salon features a U-shaped dinette that converts to a double berth, a settee, and the navigation station with tank gauges and electrical panels.
Recent systems work includes a Fischer Panda 4 kW generator set installed in 2015, Dometic 16,000 BTU air conditioning with heat, a Xantrex Freedom SW inverter, and a battery bank of three 4D AGM house batteries and one 34 AGM starter battery replaced in 2022. A dripless shaft seal by PYI was fitted in 2020, and the engine received new insulation in 2023. The 12-foot Porta-Bote tender and Winslow life raft are included, along with a Bruce anchor with chain and rope rode, an electric windlass, and a Lifesling 2. Shore power service is 30 amp.
