2000 Hunter Passage 420

The 2000 Hunter Passage 420 is a 43-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat with a center cockpit layout and walk-through reverse transom opening to a swimming platform with folding ladder. The design incorporates a B&R rig that eliminates the need for a backstay, freeing up cockpit space and deck movement, reinforced by mast struts and composite chainplates that resist corrosion. An integrated cockpit arch provides structural support while maintaining clean sightlines across the deck. The boat operates on a single Yanmar diesel engine rated at 63 hp and features a fixed-wing keel with standard draft.

Below deck, the accommodation plan includes a spacious aft cabin with queen berth and dual walk-out access flanked by hanging wardrobes and storage drawers, offering good headroom for extended cruising or living aboard. A forward guest stateroom features a private entrance, double berth, and private head with shower. The dinette table converts to an additional double bunk, creating flexibility for multiple guests.

The yacht is outfitted with a 2 kW inverter and 3 kW generator. Navigation and sailing systems include color radar with GPS, B&G wind instruments, and autopilot. The bottom paint is recent, applied in February 2022. Two heads are installed for guest convenience across the layout.
