1998 Northern Marine Trawler

This 64-foot Northern Marine trawler was built in 1998 for long-range cruising and offshore passage-making. Powered by a single 300-horsepower Cummins diesel engine, she reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots and cruises at 10 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 18.5 feet across the beam and is designed for seaworthy bluewater operation.

The interior comprises two cabins and two heads, laid out to support extended cruising without crew. Fuel capacity stands at 2,800 gallons and freshwater at 1,000 gallons, both configured for sustained offshore voyages. Power systems include a Victron inverter/charger and a Northern Lights 20-kilowatt generator, supplemented by Starlink connectivity.

The trawler is equipped with hydraulic bow and stern thrusters for station-keeping and maneuvering in confined waters. She carries two tenders: a fully rigged aluminum fishing boat and a RIB. Recently returned from Alaskan cruising, she received a fresh haul-out and bottom paint in October 2025 and is reported in ready-to-cruise condition.
