1998 Pursuit 2800 Offshore

This 1998 Pursuit 2800 Offshore is a 28-foot center console sportfish built on a fiberglass hull with a fully-integrated transom and extended running surface. Powered by five Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 1,100 hp, the boat combines the open-water versatility of a center console layout with the security of a walkaround design. The hull features hand-laid fiberglass construction using biaxial materials, with stringers fully encapsulated from keel to chine for structural integrity.

The cockpit is designed around serious fishing. The transom includes a bait and tackle rigging station, removable cutting board, freshwater sink, and large fish box. Rod storage runs under the gunwale and extends into the cabin, complemented by four Lee's rod holders, tackle lockers, and fresh and raw water washdowns. A leaning post with rocket launchers incorporates a 26-gallon circulating livewell, while a forward console seat with cooler and starboard jump seat provide seating for extended runs.

The cabin offers overnight comfort with a convertible V-berth, marine head, day galley featuring a top-loading icebox, portable butane stove, pressure water system, and sink. The helm features a tilt-away design with flush-mount electronics compatibility and clear access to wiring systems.

The hull construction employs Pursuit's proprietary gelcoat and skin-coat application process, with fiberglass laminates precision-cut to ensure consistent thickness and strength throughout. The boat meets or exceeds US Coast Guard requirements and carries NMMA certification.
