1998 Sea Ray 400 Express Cruiser

This 1998 Sea Ray 400 Express Cruiser is a 45-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin 454 Mercruiser Horizon HO engines rated at 380 horsepower each, equipped with V-drive transmissions, water cooling, and dripless seals. The engines have logged just over 1,000 hours each. A 7 kilowatt Westerbeke generator with 1,405 hours provides auxiliary power. The boat carries 300 gallons of fuel and 100 gallons of fresh water, with a 30-gallon waste tank. Navigation and safety equipment includes a radar chart plotter, depth finder, autopilot, VHF radio, windlass with chain, searchlight, electric horn, CO detectors, and fire extinguishers. Below deck, the cabin layout features a forward stateroom with a full bed, understorage, two cedar-lined closets, a vanity with settees and drawer, and a privacy door. A guest stateroom offers a full-size bed with convertible upper bunk, hanging locker, and lower storage. The salon houses a convertible sleeper sofa with storage, movable dining table, and snack bar with two barstools. The galley is equipped with a three-burner stove, AC/DC refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, and sink with garbage chute.

The head is self-contained with a vacuflush system and holding tank, served by a separate shower with a bi-fold door. A 10.5-gallon water heater provides hot water. Battery systems include two cranking batteries and three house batteries. Full canvas enclosure protects the upper deck. The boat is outfitted with trim tabs for improved performance and handling.
