1998 Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge

The 1998 Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge is a 48-foot fiberglass sedan-bridge motor yacht powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines rated at 1,250 horsepower. The boat cruises at 24 knots with a maximum speed of 30 knots. Built for freshwater operation, it accommodates three cabins and two heads.

The yacht underwent extensive updates during winter 2021 and spring 2022. The master stateroom received a new custom mattress, along with fresh soft goods and bedding throughout. New 32-inch Samsung Smart TVs were installed on the bridge and in the engine room, with a 43-inch Smart TV mounted in the saloon. Entertainment upgrades included a new Fusion head unit with Bluetooth, additional speakers, a Boss amplifier, and a Sony Blu-ray player. A hardtop was installed on the bridge with new Lumetic tricolor lights, and the cockpit received air conditioning and heating.

Mechanical and systems work completed in 2021 and 2022 included a full coolant flush with new radiator caps, service to both main engines and the generator, new impellers, transmission service and filter replacement, and installation of a new bow thruster with a 24V battery charger. The hardtop was resealed and caulked. Further updates in 2023 included new custom bow cushions and loungers, a water softener, Ships WiFi, a Siren Marine monitoring system, and a DVR system with six cameras. A full spring service in 2024 encompassed the mains and generator, along with fuel filter replacement. The boat received a complete buff and wax in April 2023 and 2024, with regular weekly washes during summer 2024.
