1998 Seastream 465

Built in 1998, this Seastream 465 is a hand-built bluewater cruising yacht designed by Ian Anderson. At just over 46 feet with a beam of 14 feet, the boat features a sea-kindly hull, secure cockpit, and raised deck saloon that provides excellent visibility and comfort below. Power comes from an 86 hp Perkins diesel engine.

The interior layout comprises three cabins—two doubles and one twin—along with two heads. Quality joinery is evident throughout, and the raised saloon adds generous headroom and natural light to the main living space. The cutter rig is designed for single-handed or shorthanded operation, making the sail plan manageable for a cruising crew.

The boat has been maintained to a good standard and wintered ashore annually. This is one of a limited number of Seastream 465s produced, representing a distinctive design from a builder known for bluewater capability.
