This 1998 Silverton 372 Motor Yacht is a 40-foot sedan bridge design with an overall length of 43 feet 5 inches. Twin Caterpillar 3116T diesel engines provide 700 horsepower total; the starboard engine was repowered in 2020 with approximately 300 hours, while the port engine remains original with about 1,500 hours. The boat features a deep-V fiberglass hull and includes side-power bow and stern thrusters with remote controls, dripless shafts, transmission and fuel coolers, and propellers tuned by a professional service. A Kohler generator was rebuilt in 2018.
The interior comprises two ensuite cabins and a large salon with galley. The galley includes a Norcoral refrigerator, Corian countertops, and a propane stove. Climate control spans three heat pump HVAC zones. Electrical systems consist of seven AGM batteries and a 2000-watt Xantrex inverter; 50-amp shore power is available with a 30-amp adapter. Fuel, water, and holding tank capacities are 300, 100, and 65 gallons respectively.
Electronics include a Garmin 18-inch Fantom radar, Garmin 942XS and 1242XSV plotters with radar, sonar, and AIS integration, Sirius satellite radio, autopilot, and aft camera. VHF radio with AIS, KVH satellite television, 32-inch HD television, and Bose audio complete the suite. Recent maintenance included new bottom paint, new carpet, fuel tank cleaning with epoxy treatment, water separator service, and replacement of seven AGM batteries. A 3-foot swim platform with hydraulic dinghy davit was rebuilt, and the radar tower and swim deck were reinforced. The Kohler generator, transmissions, and engines have been serviced; dive checks are current.
