2002 Carver 396 Motor Yacht

This 2002 Carver 396 is a 40-foot sedan bridge motor yacht powered by twin Volvo Penta 8.1Gi gasoline engines delivering 760 total horsepower. Both engines were replaced following the 2021 freeze. The fiberglass hull is equipped with a bow thruster, trim tabs, and dripless shaft seals. Navigation and control features include digital throttle and shift, a Garmin multi-function display with chart and GPS, Garmin sonar, VHF radio, and a compass.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads. The master stateroom has a queen berth with private head featuring a vacu-flush toilet, sink, vanity, and separate shower stall. The forward cabin holds a centerline queen berth with private access to a day head with its own shower stall. The main salon features an ultraleather sofa that converts to a double berth, an ultraleather loveseat, cherry wood finishes, and an entertainment center with flat-screen TV and DVD player. A Fusion sound system upgrade provides audio throughout the yacht. The galley includes a three-burner electric stove, upright refrigerator and freezer, microwave with convection function, built-in coffee maker, and solid surface countertops.

The flybridge has captain and passenger bucket seats with a large L-shaped passenger sofa, a wet bar with sink and refrigerator, Fusion stereo, and Sea Dek flooring. The full aft deck features Sea Dek, a canvas enclosure with isinglass, overhead lighting, boarding gates at transom and sides, and folding deck chairs with table. A bimini with full canvas enclosure tops the flybridge seating area. A 10 KW Kohler generator, shore power capability with two 50-amp cords, reverse cycle heat and air conditioning with three units, and automatic fire extinguishing system support extended cruising and comfort.

The yacht was used exclusively in freshwater and includes a swim platform with stainless ladder, transom shower with hot and cold water, recessed electric anchor windlass with remote, plow anchor, and Jabsco spotlight with remote control.
