1999 Bayliner Ciera 2858 Sun Bridge

This 1999 Bayliner Ciera 2858 is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a single 383 Stroker gasoline engine with 283 horsepower, paired with Mercruiser Bravo IV drive. The boat reaches speeds up to 35 knots and cruises comfortably at 23 knots. Recent engine work in 2024 included a new motor and raw water impeller, with the hour gauge reading 260 hours at installation.

The cabin accommodates six people for overnight trips. Creature comforts include a 12,000 BTU air conditioning and heating unit, a portable generator to run it, and a 6-gallon portable water heater. An exterior hot and cold water wash kit was installed in 2022. All interior and exterior cushions were recovered in 2023, and the transom assembly was replaced in 2020.

Additional recent work includes a rebuilt carburetor, new exhaust manifold, riser kit, flappers and hoses completed during the 2024 engine replacement. The U-joint bellows, intermediate shift cable, U-joint yoke gimbal bearing, and exhaust bellows are new, as is the fuel level sender unit installed in 2023. The boat comes with a custom-made winter cover and two fiberglass deck boxes.
