1999 Catalina 42 MkII

This 1999 Catalina 42 MkII is a three-cabin sloop built for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard. The fiberglass hull measures 42 feet in length with a 13.83-foot beam, powered by a single 50-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine capable of 8 knots maximum speed.

The interior layout centers on a main salon with a settee and dinette to port and galley to starboard. The forward master stateroom includes an ensuite head. Two mirror-image guest cabins occupy the aft section and share a guest head accessed from the main salon. A navigation station sits aft to port. The design accommodates six adults comfortably for cruising or works well for a liveaboard arrangement.

Access to the boat is provided through openings in the rails and lifelines on both port and starboard sides. A sugar scoop walk-through transom allows easy boarding onto the swim platform and provides convenient dinghy access. The yacht has been actively cruised in the Bahamas and is equipped for continued passages throughout Caribbean and coastal waters.
