The 1999 Corsair F-24 MkII is a lightweight 24-foot trimaran built in fiberglass with a wide 17.9-foot beam, designed for both racing and cruising in shallow water. The hull's shallow draft makes it well-suited to gunkholing and exploring coastal areas where deeper-draft boats cannot go. A Honda 5-horsepower four-stroke outboard fitted in 2022 with fewer than 25 hours of use provides auxiliary power.
Below deck, a V-berth forward accommodates two adults, and a straight settee to starboard offers additional sleeping space for children. A marine head is plumbed and located to port beneath the settee. The open layout and spacious trampoline areas suit the boat's dual purpose as both a day-racer and comfortable cruising platform.
The sailing inventory includes an aluminum rotating mast with new standing rigging installed in 2022. Multiple sails are aboard: an Evolution Flex Sport jib with UV cover from 2020, a Calvert furling carbon jib, UK nylon asymmetric spinnaker, Calvert pentex screecher, and a UK nylon and dacron mainsail. On deck, two Lewmar 16 primary winches, a pop-top canvas cover with screens, and dual anchors support sailing operations. Electronics include a VHF radio, autopilot from 2013, and a portable radar reflector. The boat is equipped with a trailer and jack stands.
