This 1999 Hunter 460 is a 45-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built around a spacious two-cabin layout suited to extended offshore voyaging. The boat features shorthanded-friendly sail plan with in-mast furling main and roller genoa systems, backed by a 76-horsepower Yanmar turbodiesel engine and 100-gallon fuel capacity.
The interior showcases a teak finish throughout. The forward cabin holds a pedestal berth with hanging and cabinet storage, while the aft owner's cabin features a centerline queen bed with separate ensuite head and shower access. A third cabin serves as dedicated workshop and storage space with a workbench, washer, and dryer. The main saloon includes a wraparound dinette that converts to sleeping space and a fully-equipped galley with stainless-steel double sink, three-burner propane stove and oven, microwave, and separate refrigerator and freezer units with keel coolers for efficiency. Hot water is supplied by engine coolant or AC power.
The electrical system runs on 400 ampere-hour lithium batteries monitored by Victron and Balmar management systems, capable of three to four days off-grid operation. A Spectra water maker adds cruising range. Navigation and piloting are handled by integrated Raymarine electronics including two multifunction displays, GPS, AIS, radar, autopilot, and wind, speed, and depth instruments. The boat carries a 540-watt solar array, 1500-watt inverter, and a Lewmar windlass with 150 feet of chain and rode.
Recent work includes engine overhaul in September 2024 with cooling system, injectors, and exhaust service. A dripless shaft seal was installed in June 2024. Electronics received new Axiom displays in May 2024. Dodger and bimini canvas were replaced in July 2024, bottom paint applied in June 2024, and the life raft re-certified in October 2024.
