1999 Island Packet 45

This 1999 Island Packet 45 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built during the final years of the model's production run. At 45 feet in length with a 13.42-foot beam, the boat carries the classic Island Packet design philosophy of seaworthy offshore capability and comfortable cruising accommodations.

Power comes from a 75-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine, which drives the boat at a cruising speed of 6.5 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots. Recent mechanical work includes replacement of the heat exchangers, turbo, and starter. The standing rigging was renewed in 2020, and the same year saw installation of new B&G electronics. The bottom was freshly painted with four coats of Interlux in September 2025.

The boat reflects consistent care and regular maintenance throughout its service life. All major systems have been attended to, making it a well-maintained example of a proven cruising design.
