1999 Offshore Yachts 48 Pilothouse

The 1999 Offshore Yachts 48 Pilothouse is a fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin 6CTA 8.3 M3 diesel engines producing 900 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. The pilothouse design centers on a raised helm station with wing doors and a lounge area aft, accessed by three steps up from the main salon. The salon and galley occupy the same level, opening to a covered afterdeck and walk-around side decks, with stairs to a flybridge on the starboard side.

Below deck, a curved stairway leads to two double staterooms, each with its own head and generous storage. The layout makes efficient use of the interior space across 48 feet and a 15.5-foot beam.

The boat underwent significant updates starting in 2012 and continuing annually through 2017. From spring 2023 through fall 2025, the exterior received a complete repaint and canvas replacement, alongside extensive updating. The engine room is clean and well-maintained. The interior is warm and comfortable, with the newly painted exterior and refreshed canvas presenting the yacht in strong overall condition.
