This 1999 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer is a 39-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin 2016 Yanmar 440 diesel engines. The boat was re-engined in 2021 with these low-hour powerplants that have run only 50 hours since installation. During the repower, the transmissions were serviced, new shafts and ceramic seals were fitted, and the fuel and exhaust systems were updated. Both ZF transmissions were overhauled, and the Westerbeke generator received a complete rebuild with new motor mounts.
The boat is equipped with twin Garmin multifunction displays with separate high and low transducers, Raymarine autopilot, and a Fusion head unit with helm remote. Entertainment includes a surround-sound satellite TV system with three screens and JL Audio speakers throughout. Navigation and operational systems feature fresh water washdown on engines, an oversized fresh water pump with expansion tank, and a 12-volt Spectra watermaker. The swim platform includes a portable bait well with dedicated saltwater pump and quick disconnects.
Recent updates include new batteries, a fresh detail and wax, new interior soft goods with all seating redone, Eisenglass windscreen with covers and aft curtain installed in 2023, and new engine hatch lift and arm. Taco outrigger poles are mounted for aft shade. The port fuel tank is currently under inspection for a leak. Trim tabs have been removed and are inoperable. The galley refrigerator is not functioning and requires a replacement power pack. Salon door rollers require adjustment or replacement. The Raymarine autopilot needs calibration.
