2003 Mediterranean 38 Express

This 2003 Mediterranean 38 Express is a diesel-powered express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Volvo Penta engines deliver 860 horsepower combined and have logged only 675 hours. The boat measures 38 feet in length with a 12.67-foot beam, making it well-suited for coastal cruising, bay exploration, and sportfishing in Southern California waters.

The interior sleeps up to four and features teak trim throughout. The forward stateroom holds a double berth with storage drawers and hanging locker space. The salon includes a U-shaped settee with storage, custom flooring, and multiple 120V outlets. The galley is outfitted with a two-burner electric cooktop, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, and Corian countertop. A single head with shower, Corian counter, and marine toilet serves the cabin.

Deck and mechanical systems are comprehensively equipped. A Village water maker produces 16 gallons per hour. An electric anchor windlass with remote control, bow pulpit with roller, and dedicated anchor locker support ground tackle. Hydraulic steering, trim tabs, four-blade propellers, and a swim platform with telescoping ladder complete the propulsion and boarding arrangement. A Northern Lights generator with 598 hours supports 120V AC and 12V DC power systems throughout.

Electronics center on a full Simrad suite: radar, GPS chartplotter, fishfinder, and autopilot. VHF radio with scanning capability, full engine instrumentation, and a compass round out navigation. Fishing-oriented features include eight rod holders on the radar arch, six rocket launcher holders forward in the cockpit, outriggers, a large bait tank, and cap rail rod holders. Deck amenities include cockpit courtesy and flood lighting, a sink, hydraulic engine room access, and generous lazarette storage.
