This 1999 Sea Ray 420 Aft Cabin is a 42-foot sedan-bridge cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin 2014 Yanmar diesel engines rated at 440 horsepower each. The boat reaches a top speed of 25 knots and cruises comfortably at 14 knots, with ZF transmissions, 1¾-inch stainless steel shafts, dripless shaft seals, and four-bladed Michigan bronze propellers. A Westerbeke 8-kilowatt diesel generator supports auxiliary power, backed by a MAGNUM 2812 inverter-charger system with remote monitoring and comprehensive battery management.

The design prioritizes both command and comfort. The raised bridge offers 360-degree visibility with a Raymarine Hybrid Touch GPS, networked radar, depth sounder, autopilot with handheld remote, and iCOM VHF with GPS and AIS capability. Below, the main salon features a wrap-around settee, dining table, and galley equipped with a three-burner electric stove, microwave, toaster oven, and stainless steel refrigerator-freezer. Three staterooms sleep family or guests: the forward cabin has a queen bunk with ensuite head and shower, the mid cabin offers flexible sleeping or storage, and the aft cabin features a queen bunk with private head and shower. Espar hydronic heating and electric reverse-cycle air conditioning serve the main salon and staterooms.

The sundeck includes a hardtop and removable canvas enclosure, an icemaker, and wet bar for entertaining. Wide side decks provide safe passage fore and aft. Lewmar bow and stern thrusters with remote control enhance maneuverability. Ground tackle consists of a Rocna 55-pound plow anchor with 300 feet of 5/16-inch chain and 140 feet of rode, plus a spare CQR anchor. Recent exterior work included new bottom paint, shaft seals, zincs, and boot stripe. An Achilles 11.5-foot inflatable tender with 2024 Mercury 30-horsepower outboard is included on a davit system.
