1999 Viking 55 Convertible

This 1999 Viking 55 Convertible is powered by twin MAN diesel engines producing 1,300 horsepower each, with approximately 6,000 hours on the engines. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 37 knots and cruises at 32 knots, making it capable for offshore work and longer passages.

The interior comprises three cabins and two heads, providing comfortable accommodation for extended trips. The boat is equipped with a 21-kilowatt Onan generator with roughly 500 hours of use, four air conditioning units, and modern electronics including triple Garmin 16-inch screens and associated Garmin systems. Additional equipment includes a FLIR night vision system, a new JL Audio system with Fusion head unit, and a cockpit sunshade.

Recent maintenance includes valve adjustment and new gaskets completed in July 2024, reconditioned propellers with PropSpeed applied in March 2024, new bottom paint and hull sanding, new engine room lights, and replacement of the rudder and steering ram. The boat carries extra reconditioned propellers as spare parts.
