This 45-foot Cabo Express is a two-stateroom sportfish built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin MAN diesel engines of 800 horsepower each. The boat cruises at 27 knots with a top speed of 31 knots and was operated in freshwater until 2021. Both engines underwent complete rebuilds in May 2026 and have logged only 54 hours since.
The layout includes a master stateroom, guest stateroom, and a single head. The helm area features a full enclosure with reverse-cycle air conditioning and houses upgraded electronics: twin Garmin 8617 multifunction displays with GPS, mapping, plotter, depth finder and radar functions, a 6-foot Garmin open array radar, Garmin autopilot, dual Garmin VHF radios, and Starlink connectivity. The tower carries a Garmin 8610 display and additional VHF radio. Entertainment systems include Fusion audio with Bluetooth satellite stereo throughout.
The boat is configured for serious offshore fishing. A full Pipewelders tuna tower with molded fiberglass hardtop and buggy top provides upper helm controls. The cockpit features a mezzanine seating area, transom live well, and a Pompanette fighting chair. Rupp double spreader outriggers, nine recessed stainless rod holders, and nineteen rocket launchers support tackle storage. Twin in-deck fish boxes include freezer plates and new macerators. Glendinning electric over Morse cable controls operate from the lower helm, tower, and cockpit.
Recent updates include new engine gauges, five reverse-cycle air conditioning systems throughout, upgraded exterior upholstery, custom SeaDek flooring, and five underwater lights. The boat has been professionally maintained with continuous system upgrades and is equipped and ready for operation.
