The 2000 Carver 506 is a 51-foot motor yacht powered by twin Cummins 6CTA 8.3 diesel engines with direct drive. Built from fiberglass with a Deep Vee hull and distinctive raised gunwale design, the yacht combines the spaciousness of a traditional aft cabin with contemporary express-cruiser styling. The hardtop features a retractable electric sunroof, and the full hard enclosure on the command bridge seats nine. Over 100 square feet of aft deck space includes an optional central island wetbar with icemaker and refrigerator.
The interior showcases cherry wood paneling, designer hardware, and solid-surface countertops throughout. The open-concept salon, galley, and dinette span the full beam width, with a two-tiered window system offering sightlines to the water. The galley includes a Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer, three-burner stove, dual stainless sinks, microwave, and trash compactor.
Three full staterooms provide private heads for each. The master suite aft features a queen island berth with innerspring mattress and abundant storage, served by a head with separate water closet and shower. The forward guest stateroom offers another queen island berth and large private head. The third stateroom to port provides a split-berth arrangement and full locker.
Navigation and systems include dual Raymarine GPS multifunction displays, radar, autopilot, and VHF radio. The yacht is equipped with a Kohler 21 KW diesel generator, bow thruster, hydraulic trim tabs, reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning, and washer-dryer. Entertainment spans multiple staterooms and the salon with televisions and DVD players. A diesel Kohler generator has logged 2700 hours.
