2000 Catamaran Freydis 43

The Freydis 43 is a racer-cruiser catamaran designed by Erik Lerouge and built at the Soubise yard in 2000. This model represents a refined evolution of the larger Freydis 46 and 49 designs, with only a limited number constructed. The hull is fiberglass, and the boat is powered by twin 80-horsepower Volvo diesel engines.

The layout features three cabins and two heads, with a saloon offering 2 metres of headroom and a galley positioned above the main cabin sole. The accommodation is designed for extended offshore cruising, balancing speed and comfort in a dual-purpose platform.

This catamaran is equipped for self-sufficient voyaging, with a 100Ah lithium battery bank, a 65-litre-per-hour watermaker, 610 watts of solar panels, and a wind generator for power generation. Navigation and monitoring systems use NKE electronics. The catamaran's beam of nearly 23 metres provides the stability and interior volume characteristic of the design.
