The Dehler 39 is a 38.7-foot sailing yacht built in 2000 with a fiberglass hull and diesel Yanmar engine producing 40 horsepower. The boat cruises at 7 knots with a maximum speed of 8 knots, offering solid performance for extended passages and day sailing alike. Her beam of 12.5 feet provides good stability and interior volume for a yacht of this length.
The interior features two spacious cabins, a marine head with manually pumped system renewed in 2022, and thoughtful accommodation for extended cruising. The galley is L-shaped with an oven and refrigerator, while the dinette seats guests with recently updated upholstery. A Webasto heating system provides warmth in cooler conditions. Fuel capacity is 110 litres and water capacity is 230 litres, supporting comfortable offshore passages.
Recent work includes a new spray hood installed in 2023, a solar panel added in 2022, and the engine heat exchanger serviced in 2023. The steering system was refinished and serviced in 2021, and a generator was installed in 2020. The boat carries a fully-battened mainsail from 2018 on a Harken track, a furling genoa from 2012, and a gennaker with pole from 2018. A Nemo rigid vang with double spring was fitted in 2020.
Navigation and electronics are well-equipped with a complete Raymarine system upgraded in 2018, including radar, plotter, autopilot, AIS, wind and speed sensors, and VHF with GPS. Displays are positioned at the chart table and in the cockpit. Additional features include a stern thruster, bimini top with cockpit cover, lazy bag and lazyjacks, battery charger with inverter, electric and manual bilge pumps, and cockpit speakers.
