This 2000 Formula 400 Super Sport is a 40-foot express cruiser powered by twin 604-cubic-inch Dart engines with AFR cylinder heads, paired with 4.5 Whipple superchargers and MOAC intercoolers. The engines produce 1350 horsepower on pump gasoline and feature a complete drivetrain with only 45 hours of run time. Power is delivered through BAM 1350 transmissions and Arneson A7 drives, with custom six-blade herring props. The hull has approximately 300 hours of use. Additional performance features include a blue-printed bottom, custom water pickups, and hydraulic steering.
The boat accommodates guests with a full cabin layout and includes a galley with refrigeration, a bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a Kohler generator (287 hours), and two televisions. Navigation and control are handled by a custom dashboard fitted with Garmin GPS. A brand new stainless steel marine three-dimensional exhaust system with custom tail pipes handles engine output.
The 10-foot-beam hull is fiberglass construction. A custom swim platform with integrated ladder is fitted to the stern. The boat comes with a custom hot-galvanized dipped trailer.
