The 2007 Chris-Craft Roamer 40 is a distinctive express cruiser built around classic styling and modern engineering. Its flared bow, oversize cockpit with teak sole, and retro aesthetic draw from the boat's heritage design language. The wide side decks and standard hardtop support easy movement and all-weather cruising. Twin Volvo IPS 370-horsepower diesel engines with pod drives and joystick control simplify maneuvering, while a bow thruster aids docking in tight spaces.
Below deck, the Roamer offers two cabins and two heads arranged around a spacious main salon. Cherry-wood joinery and stainless-steel-framed windows that run the full cabin length define the interior. The galley and head compartments feature exquisite detailing, and the layout maximizes usable space without sacrificing comfort or elegance.
The boat was extensively upgraded and maintained by professionals. A Northern Lights 9-kilowatt diesel generator was replaced in 2019 (373 hours). Exterior upholstery received a diamond-stitched upgrade in 2023, and electronics were replaced and upgraded. Three reverse-cycle marine air conditioning systems cool the helm and both cabins. An under-counter refrigerator and freezer were replaced in 2019. The boat runs 631 hours and received a 1,000-hour service in 2024, along with a professional bottom job that same year. Recently detailed with wet sanding and polishing, all teak decks have been cleaned and conditioned, and exterior woodwork refinished.
Additional equipment includes the Heritage Package with mahogany and teak appointments throughout, the Cruising Package with cockpit refrigerator and icemaker, KVH TracVision satellite television, Glendinning automatic shore power, climate control at the helm, and multiple upgraded entertainment systems.
