2000 Goetz 60 MY
About This Yacht
This 60-foot motor yacht was custom-built by Goetz in 2000 with a distinctive long, narrow hull: an 11-foot-5-inch beam and shallow 2-foot-5-inch draft. Constructed of Kevlar glass with balsa core and carbon fiber reinforcement, the boat combines classical commuter styling with lightweight construction. Twin Yanmar 6LY diesel engines of 425 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 24 knots and a maximum speed of 32 knots. Hamilton Jet drives provide the shallow-water performance suited to coastal exploration from the Florida Keys to Maine.
The interior features teak joinery and accommodates two cabins with two heads, each with an en-suite shower. A full galley and Fisher Panda generator support extended cruising. The layout prioritizes comfort and functionality across a bright, open design philosophy—the hull form and exterior lines are integral to the vessel's character rather than secondary to cabin space.
The boat's shallow draft and narrow waterline make it capable of navigating coastal flats, the Bahamas Banks, and the Intracoastal Waterway, while remaining seaworthy for offshore passages. The owner reports five seasons of reliable cruising with family and charter guests across diverse conditions.
