The 2001 Jefferson Pilothouse 57 is a classic coastal cruiser built on a proven design from Jefferson and Hershine. At 57 feet with a 16-foot beam, she combines a comfortable interior with practical offshore capability. Twin Cummins diesel engines rated at 330 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed around 8.7 knots with a maximum speed of approximately 13 knots, allowing extended passages at economical speeds.
The interior centers on a spacious main salon with seating on both sides, easy galley access, and open sightlines to the cockpit. Three staterooms accommodate six guests, with the full-width owner's stateroom featuring a centerline queen bed and en suite head with shower. A second head serves the guest accommodations. Multiple dining areas, abundant cabinetry, and storage lockers throughout provide practical living space for extended cruising.
On deck, a Portuguese bridge arrangement protects the forward windscreen and weather decks while creating additional storage lockers. The large flying bridge is fitted with a bimini top and includes a dinghy cradle with crane system. The cockpit is generously proportioned for comfortable watch-standing during long cruising hours. Covered weather decks extend forward protection.
The yacht is fully climate-controlled with four large CruiseAir air-conditioning units. Two generators power the systems: a large diesel unit in the engine room and a Northern Lights 5kW diesel generator aft with approximately 120 hours of runtime. Electronics are recent Garmin installations throughout. The engines and generators are reported in excellent condition, as is the interior.
