A 2000 Grand Alaskan 64 Pilothouse Trawler, built to the Defever design and finished to high standards. This fiberglass hull combines a sea-kindly form with a spacious interior and a pilothouse offering excellent visibility for extended passages. Twin Caterpillar diesel engines delivering 870 horsepower provide a cruising speed of 10 knots at relaxed throttle settings, while 1,300 gallons of fuel capacity supports long-range voyaging. Naiad stabilizers and a bow thruster enhance comfort and handling.
The boat was extensively refitted by its current owners, with work completed on mechanical systems, electrical upgrades, new electronics, and interior refresh. The hull received a new full paint job in dark teal with white bootstripe. A new Simrad electronics package is installed throughout. The pilothouse and partially covered cockpit accommodate extended cruising in all seasons.
Below decks are three cabins and two heads. The boat carries two gensets, a watermaker, and covered side decks. Equipment includes a new 2025 Novurania 430 RIB tender with a 60 hp Tohatsu outboard motor, paired with a Steelhead Marine SM1500R electric davit system featuring boom arm, electric motor, hydraulic system, new batteries, and charger. A Simrad GPS/plotter/sounder and custom downrigger base are also aboard.
