The Kadey-Krogen 48 North Sea is a full-displacement trawler designed for ocean crossings, coastal cruising, and inland waterway travel. Built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 210-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine, she offers the sea-kindly performance and range expected of the North Sea design. An air draft of 19 feet—even with mast and antennas raised—allows passage under most bridges without delay.
The interior contains three staterooms, including two dedicated sleeping cabins, plus two full heads with stand-up showers. A 16-kilowatt generator supplies onboard power, while a 25-horsepower hydraulic bow thruster assists maneuvering. Hydraulic stabilizers are fitted for motion control underway. Navigation and safety systems include modern electronics and AIS.
The yacht carries a 14-foot hard-bottom dinghy powered by a 30-horsepower Honda outboard. The center console is equipped with a fish finder, radio, navigation lights, and anchor, and is launched and recovered via a Steelhead 1500 davit. Teak cabinetry and granite countertops are well-maintained throughout the interior. The boat is in excellent condition.
