The 2018 Beneteau Swift Trawler 50 is a 49-foot fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising with full living comforts. Twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS 600 diesel engines deliver 870 horsepower and can be controlled via joystick from the helm, flybridge, or cockpit control station. The boat features a bow thruster and Volvo's DPS dynamic positioning system, making single-handed operation practical. High bulwarks protect the full deck perimeter, while visibility from both the wheelhouse and flybridge is extensive.
Accommodation consists of three cabins and two heads on the lower deck. The owner's cabin sits amidships with a forward double cabin and a guest cabin with bunks between them. The main deck houses a completely open saloon with sliding doors to the aft deck—the space can alternatively be divided to create an additional cabin. The galley includes an electric stove, built-in extractor, large refrigerator and freezer, wine cooler, ice maker, and microwave. A washer and dryer are aboard, along with water-based heating and air conditioning.
The flybridge includes a seating area with table and an open section for sun loungers and grill. A hydraulic swim platform with tender garage occupies the stern, accessed by a hydraulic gangway. A large lazarette in the aft section houses the tender with electric outboard engine and provides storage for bikes and diving gear; this space can also be converted to crew quarters. The deck is finished in teak.
Equipment includes full Raymarine navigation systems, generator, shore power with retractable cable, underwater lights, and an electric grill on the flybridge. The boat has received regular maintenance and winter storage in a heated hall.
