The 2000 Mainship 390 is a 39-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single 300 hp Caterpillar diesel engine. Built for comfortable cruising and liveaboard capability, she combines the wide 14-foot beam typical of her class with practical coastal cruising design. The boat is fitted with bow and stern thrusters for precise maneuvering, an 8kW Kohler generator for onboard power, and Starlink satellite connectivity. A modern chart plotter has been installed as part of recent upgrades.
The layout centers on two staterooms—a spacious master forward and a guest cabin to port—with one head and separate shower. The expansive lower salon features large windows, galley, and ample seating, with a lower helm station. Above, the flybridge offers full helm control, seating for crew and guests, a bimini cover, and aluminum rails.
Wide side decks with molded steps facilitate safe movement forward from the cockpit to the bridge. The trawler operates efficiently at 8 to 10 knots but is capable of exceeding 15 knots when needed. The boat has been well maintained and upgraded with modern equipment while retaining classic trawler styling.
