2002 Mainship 390 Trawler

The Mainship 390 is a 39-foot fiberglass trawler powered by twin Yammer 240D diesels producing 480 horsepower combined. With 1,433 engine hours, the boat reaches 18 knots at top speed and cruises comfortably at 14 knots. Twin four-blade propellers with hydraulic steering, a bow thruster, and freshwater-cooled engines built for distance cruising make this a capable platform for extended travel. An 8-kilowatt Kohler generator supports full AC systems, and an 8.0kw Kohler generator provides power for onboard systems.

The layout centers on a pilothouse with primary helm and the main salon featuring an L-shaped galley to port, a 3/4 refrigerator, wine cooler, and television. The flybridge offers a second helm station with full Raymarine electronics, captain's seat, and bench seating with upholstery replaced in 2023. Navigation equipment throughout includes a Raymarine Axiom GPS with upper repeater, radar with AIS, autopilot, depth sounder, and wind instruments.

Below deck, the v-berth serves as the primary cabin with an island bed and en-suite shower. A guest cabin forward houses twin single berths that convert to a full bed. The head features a separate shower stall with door. Teak and holly flooring, teak trim throughout, and marine-grade wiring support comfortable cruising.

The cockpit includes a propane BBQ, self-draining floor, transom door to the swim platform, and port and starboard catwalks for bow access. A Walker Bay 10 dinghy with sailing package and davits, plus a Lewmar electric windlass with 120 feet of chain and a spare anchor, complete the cruising package. Battery boxes were replaced in 2022, bow thruster batteries were renewed, and flybridge upholstery was refreshed in 2023.
